Our commitment
Lufthof wants everyone to be able to plan an extraordinary drive. We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and we treat accessibility as part of design, not an afterthought.
Measures on this site
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and descriptive link text;
- Text alternatives for meaningful imagery; decorative media carry no essential information;
- Full keyboard operability, including the menu and photo-carousel controls, which are real buttons with ARIA labels;
- Respect for the “reduced motion” system preference — animations, auto-advancing carousels and background video are disabled for users who request less motion;
- A colour palette checked for contrast against WCAG AA and form fields sized to prevent unintended zooming on mobile devices;
- No flashing content and no audio that plays automatically. Auto-advancing photo carousels stop on first interaction (click, tap or keyboard focus) and do not run at all for users who prefer reduced motion.
Known limitations
Background films of our cars are ambient and silent; they convey no information that is not also available as text. Some destination photography is presented in carousels; every journey’s essential details (route, duration, price, season) are always available as text.
